“Yangcheng Cup” Greater Bay Area Cybersecurity Competition Finals

HKCERT participated with Hong Kong contestants in the finals of the “Yangcheng Cup” Greater Bay Area Cybersecurity Competition. The contestants come from the past HKCERT CTF competition. After a day of intense competition, the Hong Kong representatives successfully secured the first and second prizes in the Hong Kong-Macao group! The first prize went to the team Brain Beast and the second prize to the team One Leg Turkey. This competition showcased the exceptional skills and innovative capabilities of Hong Kong’s contestants, further proving Hong Kong’s strength in the field of cybersecurity.

SECCON 2023

In 2023, the winner of HKCERT CTF had earned the prestigious opportunity to compete in the SECCON 2023 under HKCERT sponsorship. SECCON is the biggest flagship annual “Capture the flag” contest in Japan. This experience not only highlighted their talent but also provided invaluable exposure to global cybersecurity challenges.
